About

Hi my name is Clint I first created this blog to advertise the fact that I am looking for full time work as a computer programmer. However I have decided to use it as an outlet to  share my feelings and thoughts about computer programming as well, and plan to have IT related articles and code. I love computer programming, the way you can take a blank form and turn it into something useful that people can enjoy.I am a C# programmer that is working under contract for Specific Solution for the past year. I am creating an PDA application. Out of respect for my employer I can’t talk about the project. Before that I was studying (Bachelor in Computing systems). Before I went to C# I use Borland C++. Other languages I have learnt are VB 6, Pascal, html, xml, SQL and some Java. However my favourite RAD tool is visual Studios 2005 (Orca hasn’t come out yet) and my language of choice is C# with the .NET framework. Mainly because I like the structure of the framework and the tools Microsoft have developed. The framework is design with mobile and web technologies in mind, making creating data distributed application easy. However I don’t want to give the impression that C# is perfect, just like other environments there are always limitations or things you would like the RAD to do or should be able to do, but it doesn’t.One of the things I like about programming is that there is a lot of problem solving, which I seem to enjoy. There’s nothing like the feeling you get when you find a solution to a coding problem.  I also like constructing classes and using the objects in the applications, creating an Object Orientated solution. I would like a full time job as there is no future in Contract work, but until that day I just keep on Coding. Please feel free to add your feels, thoughts or experiences writing computer programmes. I also plan to place some code that could be useful to you. Have a good dayClint
